To see an empowered, transformed Maasai community living lives freed from poverty and disease and reaching their God-given potential.
The Massai
“We are a people with deep traditions and a long history of roaming our cattle through East Africa searching for the rain and grass.
There are so many changes happening around us effecting how we live our lives. Because of this, many of our community members have found themselves in a place of poverty and hopelessness. We know we must change and adapt our our lifestyle in this fast changing world.
We understand our need to educate our children and to learn new ways to live a healthy and sustainable life as we settle in one place.
Keeping our identity as Maasai is really important to us as we adapt and change.”

Mission statement
To bring hope for a better future among a remote Maasai community through culturally sensitive discipleship, education, ethical enterprise and healthcare.
Our Team
We have a fantastic team of Maasai and friends from the wider community who are passionate about healthy, ethical and sustainable development based on the teachings of Jesus.

Nontinanna
“I never imagined I would be managing team of women in creating beautiful beaded jewellery using their traditional skills. This work helps them to provide for their families and even helps gifted girls through their education -when they would otherwise be sent into an early marriage.”
Florence and Lesiamon Siera
“We run the RedTribe clinic and are developing a service which provides a wide variety of treatment and prevention – ranging from dental treatment to minor surgery and midwifery.
We collect a lot of data which helps to determine where and who the problems effect most so that we can help find effective ways to prevent disease.”
Daniel Ole Masenka and Philip Kuyati
“We are both passionate about our faith and love to teach the bible and encourage the team to see God’s Kingdom come here in Maasailand. We help to manage many water and building projects too.”
Daniel Aloo
“I love my work and I love this community as well. I feel that God has brought me here with my skills as a carpenter to help with the many building projects and to pass on my skills to the young people after leaving school. One of my gifts is also with young people – mentoring and encouraging them in their faith.”
Hennie and Becca
“We came to serve in this beautiful community about 10 years ago. We have loved seeing the RedTribe team grow and develop their God given talents and use them to bring transformation to their own community.
Because we have been so embraced by the warmth of our Maasai family it has been the hardest thing in the world leaving to develop our new roles part of RedTribe in the UK.”
